That Jim Murray naming a Japanese whisky world's best must've slighted the Scots and Irish a little, if at all.
But how relevant is his opinions to your choice of whisky purchase? Do you take his words like it's law or do you simply don't give a damn?
Honestly headlines like these make me curious about the whisky. But I won't go all out to acquire what he deems is "best". At the end of the day, taste is subjective and his best may be someone else's "meh".
